What is Sagely? What does Sagely do?

Sagely is the first learning product made specifically to maximize everyday, informal learning. Sagely is both a web app, a mobile app, and a Chrome browser extension.  The app understands your interests and curates learning content directly for you. You can organize that content into interest-based collections, and our AI Sage will work with you to contextualize that learning and help you dig deeper to conquer specific learning goals, both individually and as part of a learning community.

I can't get something to work, what should I try first?

Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser.

If you're using our web app, extension and iOS app, make sure you're using the same Sagely username or email between your computer, the application, and your browser.

Do you have an Android app?

We do not currently offer an Android app but will in the future. Please join our Android waitlist and we’ll let you know when it’s available! 

What payment types do you accept?

Sagely uses Stripe to process payments and accepts all major debit and credit cards from the US. 

Do you offer a free trial?

Absolutely. We want you to kick the tires and see just how helpful Sagely will be to unlock your growth. We offer a 14 day free trial, during which you'll get hints and tips to maximize your time learning new things! Start your trial here.

How can I delete my account?

Navigate to your Sagely profile page and select the option to Delete your account. You’ll receive a confirmation email in your inbox. Please make sure to open the email and click the link, and your account will be deleted. 

What if I have issues with payment?

If you encounter any issues with your payment, please follow these steps:

1. Check your payment details: Ensure that all your payment information is entered correctly.
2. Try a different payment method: Sometimes switching to another credit card or payment option can resolve the issue.
3. Contact your bank: There may be an issue with your bank or credit card provider.

If you still experience problems, please contact our support team at [email protected] with your account details and a brief description of the issue. Our team will be happy to assist you promptly.

Why can't it save pages from a particular website?

There are many reasons why certain sites aren't accessible in our reader view. The most common:

The page requires a login. Sagely must fetch a copy of the page without knowing your username, password, or session details. Pages such as google docs or locked PDFs generally can't be reached without logging in, so sometimes Sagely cannot access them for saving.

It does not allow this type of access. Some sites block access to web crawlers, which will block or restrict Sagely from generating them.

We're always working to improve page compatibility, but the web is vast, complex, and ever-changing — so we can never guarantee perfect or complete compatibility with every site.

We encourage you to submit sites you're having saving issues with to Support so we can look into the saving behavior for you.

I was removed as a collaborator on a collection. Why is the collection still visible?

When you are removed as a collaborator from a collection (or you remove someone as a collaborator as the owner) you will retain a copy of the collection on your dashboard with your personal notes. To remove the collection entirely, you can delete it from the settings button. 

I save pages, but they don't appear in the app.

Please ensure that you're using the same account name on both the web browser and the iPhone app. Your account name is displayed in your profile - make sure they match on any platform you’re using Sagely. 

How can I suggest a new feature?

Yes! We love you. We value your feedback and are always looking to improve our product. To suggest a new feature, please:

1. Visit our Support page.
2. Fill out the form with your suggestion, including as much detail as possible about the feature and how it would benefit you.
3. Submit the form, and our team will review your suggestion.

We appreciate your input and will consider your suggestion for future updates.

How can I report a bug?

If you encounter a bug, please help us improve our service by reporting it:

1. Go to our Support page.

Provide a detailed description of the bug, including steps to reproduce it, the expected behavior, and what actually happened.
3. Attach any relevant screenshots or logs that might help us understand and fix the issue.
